After the ceremony on the beach the people paraded down the street in Kuta.

After spending a week in the Jimbaran Hills we went back to Kuta for two nights so that Blaise could meet up with some of his old friends from Perth, Western Australia. We lived in Perth is 2004 and Blaise has kept in contact with two of his mates. The 18 year olds were travelling to Bali without their parents for the first time.

We went back and stayed at the BaliSandy Cottages hotel. We saw some beautiful sunsets on Kuta beach and one night we saw a parade which was some kind of ceremony. The young girls were dressed in lavish gold costumes and they seemed only too willing to have their photos taken.
